Ham v Tottenham Early War-Time
fixture 1939/40 The
second World War was barely
two months old when these two
London rivals met in the Football
League regional competition
on 4th November 1939. Evidence
of the effects of war can be
seen by the brief nature of
this single sheet programme,
many of which would be destroyed
in bombed-out houses in the
Battle of Britain. This surviving
copy is slightly creased otherwise
excellent condition with NO
writing.
